Trinitite

Trinitite, also know as atomic glass, is a unique material formed as a result of the first atomic bomb detonation during the Trinity Test on July 16th, 1945, in the New Mexico Desert. The intense heat and pressure from the blast melted the sandy ground, fusing it into a glass-like material. Trinitite has become a physical legacy of that historic event. I amassed many kilos of Trinitite during my 10 years of doing the Tucson and Denver shows.
